What to expect at Vibrant

For some people the thought of getting an IV can be scary, but don’t let that hold you back from giving your body the nutrients and vitamins it needs to be at its best! Here at Vibrant, we are all about making this a positive and enjoyable experience for everyone who walks in the door. We welcome everyone to our facility with a warm friendly smile. You’ll be asked to fill out some brief paperwork regarding your medical history, and to list any medications you are currently taking. After that is complete, you will then have a consultation with one of our Registered Nurses on staff, who will follow a protocol designed by our Medical Director. They will then go over your paperwork to get a better understanding of your needs, to determine what IV therapy would best suit you.

Once you are comfortable in one of our lounge chairs you will then be administered your IV. This is the best part! Time to get comfortable, sit back, and relax! This process can take anywhere from 20-45 minutes.

How it Works

Now that you’re relaxing in one of our lounge chairs, one of our highly trained nurses will begin your infusion. The Registered Nurse will then stick you with a very small needle and catheter, commonly known as an IV stick. Next, they will attach your IV bag. A common misconception is that the needle stays in your arm after the IV is started. The needle is instantly replaced by a small, soft catheter that allows you to move your arm normally without discomfort.

How To Prepare

If you plan on coming early in the morning, we recommend that you eat something before coming in. Even a small snack and some fluids can do it, but it’s not mandatory. We also recommend you avoid caffeinated beverages before your appointments.

Benefits of IV Therapy

IV therapy has many great benefits beyond hydrating your body. It may increase detoxification, which speeds up the healing process. It further boosts your immune system by protecting your body against infections, and depending on the type of IV therapy you decide to receive, it can also help aid in reducing migraines and help improve mood. Glutathione has powerful anti-aging benefits, may improve psoriasis,  and can help with inflammation. There are very few side effects associated with receiving IV therapy. Although rare, you may notice some slight bruising at the injection site.

We would love to hear from you! If you have any questions or concerns please feel free to call us Monday through Friday 10am-6pm or Saturday and Sunday 9am-3pm. Walk-ins are always welcome but you may also make an appointment if you’d like. Everyone deserves a Vibrant life and we look forward to seeing you!!!
